The moon shines down upon an open field, while you walk on the bare, crumbling cement of the path. The trees are welcoming but dark, and the night feels no place to wander.
My name is Jeremy, and I create, research, and teach comics and graphic narratives (and their overlap with anthropology, ethnography, media, communication, etc.). I am also a textile artists, and I am often up for doing work freelance/by commission -- ask me and see.
And now, a poem:
watching stars collide,
i breathe a sigh of wonder;
life so short, yet so long
currently, i'm listening to indigo girls - despite our differences and when i was finishing the first two apps i had to finish, i was listening to the sam roberts band - we were born in a flame what are YOU listening to? (ie comment!)

The new Decemberists album "The Crane Wife" is pretty fantastic. I listen to it while I'm driving into work every day. Then "The Future Soundtrack of America" compilation put out by McSweeny's made is for the ride home - lots of good stuff on there. Plus I just bought the Gin Blossom's greatest hits album off itunes, which may or may not have been a huge misake - the jury's still out on that one :-/
